The Burtner House Restoration Society

The Burtner House is managed and maintained by the Burtner House Restoration Society. This group of dedicated individuals is responsible for the upkeep of this historic house in the Allegheny Valley. All are welcome to join and help in the preservation of this local history. Consider a membership for yourself or as a gift.

Current Projects...

Interested in getting involved? We have LOTS of opportunities for volunteers. Here are just a few that we are currently working on.

  • Upkeep of our native pollinator gardens and other landscaping
  • General repairs and upkeep inside the house
  • Festival planning and production
  • Artifact upkeep and cataloging
  • Docent/Tour Guide training

Come Visit us

We are only 30 minutes from Pittsburgh.

The Burtner House is not open to the public on a regular schedule. We would love to give you a tour – either at one of our festivals or by appointment. Please fill out this online form and we will be in touch to schedule
